We never think of parting from our parents. But daughters have to leave their parents' house after marraige willingly or unwillingly. But they always keep on remembering their parents, the sweet memories of their life and sometimes visits them whenever required.
It is always enjoyable whenever I visit my parents. Those momemnts always relax me in my busy life. To see the parents, to share the experiences of life with brothers and sisters energies me. I think all my fellow girls feel the same. That is why girls can never forget their 'MAYEKA'.
As long as I know my parents thay had bastowed me with good education, good Sanskar and good family ties. In the month of January 2010, I have lost my father. He was Shastri, a talented Sanskrit teacher of his time and a noble person. He taught me Sanskrit in such a manner that it became so simple for me. That is why I love Sanskrit. I learnd Sanskrit Shlolkas only be hearing, whenever he used to enchant shlokas from Geeta, Durga Shaptshti and many else. I always remembver him whenever I enchant those shlokas. This is the Vidya Dhan which my father had rewarded me and this is the greatest thing of my life. I feel proud on being his daughter.
When I was a student he used to teach me by giving examples. One day he told me, "Work hard, it will pay later in your life. As a person riding on a cycle works hard to reach on the heights but feels relax while decending. He does not need to paddle hard now. Likewise, you have to work hard to reach the heights in your life. Don't waste time either time will spoil your fate." One day he showed me a bucket full of water in bathroom which was filled by drops droping down from the tap. He told me. "See the bucket is filled drop by drop. So you can learn little by little. One day you will have an ocean of knowledge. Saving one by one rupee you will have lots of money. So don't waste a single moment or single rupee of your hard earned money. Do your work with great interest and good deeds without expecting reward or appreciation. Your happiness will be immense if the reward comes to you without your expectations. Be honest, truthful and trustworthy. Behave in responsible manner. Always keep your promises. This will make you a successful person. Don't make the promises which you can't fulfill. It will harm your self esteem and happiness. Place the things in the same place from where you have picked them so that you can find them even in darkness.
There might be ups and downs in life as life never runs smooth so live life as it comes. Don't run away from your duties and responsibilities, how much bigger they may be. Face them and try to solve them with best of your knowledge. God is always with you because He is always with the truthful person. He alwsys protect His children who are moving on the path of truth.
I miss my father a lot. He made my life so beautiful that I always thank God giving me such a lovely parents like Himself. Can we do something for our parents. Yes, if I spread his teachings to my fellows than I think I have done a little for him. I miss my father a lot. I can feel his presence when I visit my parents house. I can hear him calling me by my nick name.
One day I asked him, "Tell me something about yourself." He told me,"I think, I am the happiest person on this earth. I am blessed with good children and good life partner. I have struggled in my life but God has rewarded me for my struggle. I have no complaint, no regret in my life and I give all my blessings to my children: "Sarve Bhavantu Sukhina Sarve Santu Niramaya, Sarve Bhadrani Pashyatu, Ma Kashchid Dukh Bhag Bhavet." Live life happily.
